There is a regular train service operating from Carcassonne to Toulouse. In addition, regular bus services run between the airport, Carcassonne town centre and the train station.

A shuttle bus also goes from the airport to the town centre, departing 25 minutes after every flight arrival.

Taxis are readily available from outside the terminal building to drive passengers to nearby Carcassonne and other destinations farther afield.

General Parking Facilities

Carcassonne en Pays Cathare Airport has a single car park, which although recently enlarged, still tends to fill up when flights from both London and Brussels arrive. Both short-term and long-term parking rates are offered in the car park, which is conveniently located next to the main terminal building.

The first 30 minutes of parking are free, while there is also a drop-off and pick-up area located immediately in front of the terminal. Free reserved parking is available for disabled drivers by calling the airport information desk.
